PURPOSE:To simplify a separator for stacked works in structure, by installing a guide member, which rocks a claw member so as to make its claw separate from the work in a down process and to restore it to a support part of the work, and a work receiver receiving the work both. CONSTITUTION:A crank 28 starts its rotation from a bottom dead center to a top dead center and a lifting member 18 makes a claw member 19 go upward. At this time, the claw member 19 rocks in a direction where a claw 19 comes nearer to a tray 2 as going up in an opposite state to the preceding latter half of down, by guidance at an inclined guide surface, and it is returned to a support part of the tray 2 one step above the tray 2 supported by a work receiver 23. The claw member 19 supports remaining stacked trays 2 and goes up in a state of separating the lowermost tray 2 from the work receiver 23. When a crank 28 gets closer to the vicinity of the top dead center, a rotary actuator 21 is stopped by operation of a top dead center detecting sensor 39 whereby the claw member 19 keeps such a state that supports the remaining stacked tray 2. During the while, the tray 2 separated from the work receiver 23 is fed to a tray line 5.
