PURPOSE:To permit easy recognition without adding a marker to a sample by irradiating near UV rays to the migration zone of the sample and recognizing the DNA enriched zone by fluorescence. CONSTITUTION:An isokinetic electrophoretic apparatus 1 is constituted by connecting a terminal liquid cell 12, a sample introducing cell 3, a quartz glass migration tube 4 which is formed into a capillary shape in the lower part, and a leading liquid cell 5 in this order in liquid injection and providing a branch path 6 for dispensing ANA to the down stream of the migration tube 4 and a UV lamp 8 which can irradiate the near UV rays over the entire part of the migration tube 4 thereto. A gel fragment contg. the DNA separated by gel electrophoresis is introduced into the device in the state of filling the leading liquid up to the sample introducing cell 3 and thereafter, the electrophoresis is executed by turning on a power source 7. The blue fluorescence is admitted tin the boundary part between the leading liquid and the terminal liquid. Such fluorescence indicates the position of the DNA zone. |
