PURPOSE:To make polychromatism in a display color attainable as well as to improve the sightability of a display, by constituting a combiner with plural stratified holograms different in wavelength selectivity and an incident angle of a reference beam each, in case of a display unit using a holography. CONSTITUTION:Each of holograms 10a and 10b, consisting of dichromate gelatin or the like, different in wavelength selectivity and an incident angle of a reference beam each, are formed into a two-lay structure in holding a silicone resin film 15 in between and then this two-layer structure is pinched by transparent glass 11, constituting a combiner 12. And, laser beam scanners 13a and 13b consisting of a laser oscillator, a collimator and a photo-deflector are set up in front of this combiner 12, and a green Ar laser beam and a red He-Ne laser beam are irradiated at each of incident angles theta a and beta from these scanners 13a and 13b. Each of these scanners 13a and 13b is controlled by a controller 17 on the basis of driving information.
