<p>A denture connector is provided with a hollow cylindrical female member (ll2) having a retainer plate (l22) embedded in a denture crown (l4). A male member (ll6) comprises a top planar member (ll9) having a lateral projection (l2l). A boss (l3l) depends from the undersurface of the top planar member and has a bore receiving a threaded screw (l33). A removable expandable sleeve (l43) is fitted over the screw to complete the male member. The male member is inserted into the female member whereby a tolerance space (l45) exists between the outer diameter of the sleeve and the inner diameter of the female cylinder. A retainer block (l60) attached to the lateral projection (l2l) has a space therein whereby the combination of space and projecting fins (l84-l90) ensure firm embedment of the retainer block in denture material.</p> |
