PURPOSE:To prevent a clad from easily breaking even at the time of bending and twisting and to obtain high fire resistance and heat resistance by composing an optical fiber of a core part, a clad part, super fines, ceramic in a green state, and an outer jacket part. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber consists of the core part 1, clad part 2, super fine 3 with viscosity, ceramic in the green state which is formed by kneading ceramic powder, a lubricant, and a binder together, and outer jacket 5. The clad 2 is made of resin or quartz and the super fines 3 correct even the function of the clad 2 although the degree of fracture due to bending is different. The ceramic 4 in the green state functions to apply not a local force, but a uniform and flexible force for pressing the super fines 3 entirely. Those are charged and the degree of the charging is adjusted to complete proper charging by die drawing.
