PURPOSE:To accelerate the formation of pseudo-granules by separating iron ore as starting material into coarse iron ore and fine iron ore, mixing the coarse iron ore with water, adding the fine iron ore, a slag forming material and coke breeze as well as water to the mixture and granulating them by rolling. CONSTITUTION:All or part of iron ore as starting material is separated into coarse iron ore and fine iron ore with a sieve or the like. Part of water to be added is added to the coarse iron ore and they are mixed by rolling. The fine iron ore, a slag forming material and coke breeze as well as the remaining water are added to the mixture and they are granulated by rolling. Thus, the formation of pseudo-granules by the sticking of the fine iron ore to the surface of the coarse iron ore is accelerated.
