PURPOSE:To incorporate, miniaturize a circuit required for signal processing and to improve the reliability by activating an image pickup element, amplifying and correcting the output and integrating an electronic circuit leading an analog waveform and a digital waveform into an integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:The image pickup element 1 is scanned by the clock of a clock generator 12 and the electric charge of each photodetector is led to a sample holding circuit 5 via the input selector switch 3 of an LSI 2 and a peak hold circuit 4 sequentially. The signal subjected to sample holding is corrected by a data in a memory M storing an output correction data in matching with the characteristic of the image pickup element 1 in advance by an output correction circuit 6. The signal is converted into a digital and analog waveforms by an A/D conversion circuit 8 and an amplifier circuit 9 via a gain adjusting circuit 7. The circuits above are integrated in one chip integrated circuit LSI 2.
