An arrangement is proposed for transmitting a force or a feed movement from a cylinder unit (12) via a flexible line (20) containing a fluid, in particular a hydraulic fluid, to a second cylinder unit (22). Here, an electric positioning device (10) is connected via an actuator (18, 19) to an adjustable member (14), acting on the fluid, of one of the cylinder units (12). The two cylinder units (12, 22) are preferably constructed as rodless, flexible working cylinders (13, 21) of bellows-like configuration, which together with the line (20) connecting them form a hermitically sealed unit. The variable to be transmitted can thus be transferred to virtually any location even in restricted space conditions. <IMAGE>
