PURPOSE:To prevent printing trouble such as printing blur, by detecting that the voltage of a power source reaches predetermined one or less and stopping printing operation at the time of detection. CONSTITUTION:When voltage 101 supplied to a printing head 7 from a power source 4 during printing lowers to predetermined one or less, said voltage 101 is sent to a printing control part 2 as a digital signal by an A/D converter 3 and the printing control part 2 detects the drop in the voltage 101 to stop the operation of a printing drive part 6. At the same time, the printing control part 2 stores printing information immediately before the voltage 101 drops. When voltage 101 reaches predetermined one or more, the printing control part 2 detects that the voltage 101 has reached predetermined one or more through the A/D converter 3 and performs printing continuously from the point of time when the operation of the printing drive part 6 was stopped corresponding to the printing information immediately before the stored voltage 101 dropped. As a result, because printing operation is performed only at the time of predetermined voltage or more, trouble such as printing blur can be removed. |
