The present invention relates to an automatic waterer controlled from a hygrometric probe and a mechanical or electronic clock which are programmed by an analog system. According to Figure 1, the device is characterised by electrodes 23 measuring the moisture of the soil, a photosensitive cell 2 detecting the light, and pulse oscillators comparing the signals emanating from these detectors. The electrical signals generated by the analog system control the opening and the closing of solenoid valves connected to a watering circuit. The invention is used in the water-distribution industry and agriculture. <IMAGE>
