PURPOSE:To obtain the titled adhesive composition which can give excellent bonding strength, heat resistance, etc., to a laminate made of a metallic plate and a synthetic resin film even when laminated at low temperature, by incorporating a thermoplastic saturated copolyester resin into a urethane-modified acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:A diisocyanate compound (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate) is reacted with an acrylic resin to give a urethane-modified acrylic resin. 100pts.wt. of this urethane-modified acrylic resin is mixed with 10-100pts.wt. thermoplastic saturated copolyester resin to give the titled adhesive composition. A thermoplastic saturated copolyester resin is a thermoplastic saturated polyester having a linear main chain, an example of which is a saturated polyester made from a saturated polybasic acid, such as terephthalic acid or isophthalic acid, and a polyhydric alcohol, such as ethylene glycol or neopentyl glycol.
