The present invention relates to a fastening element, comprising a nut, with a neck extension, and a washer which has a bore and is carried rotatably, but captively, by the neck extension of the nut. In order, in the case of simple production, to prevent clamping of the washer and to ensure force transmission via the washer, the fastening element is configured such that the neck extension of the nut has an annular notch, that the bore widens conically in the direction of the clamping surface of the fastening element, and that the washer is held by the at least partially widened neck extension of the nut.
