<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently inhibit transmission with a data error without making deterioration in a chrominance component conspicuous by switching the ratio of reset data to luminance data and the ratio of reset data to chrominance data in accordance with the difference between data densities. CONSTITUTION:Luminance data and chrominance data, both of which are subjected to time base compression, are switched so that the number of the luminance data, for instance, can be four times the chrominance data, and inputted to a terminal 203. Since a timing pulse with the same cycle as that of the data inputted to the terminal 203 is inputted to a terminal 202, a high level is outputted whenever m-data and n-data (n=4m) are inputted to the terminal 203, and by the output a witch 209 switches the input PCM data of the terminal 203 and the output of a DPCM encoder circuit 208. Accordingly PCM data as reset data are outputted during one horizontal scan period by the same numbers of the luminance data and the chrominance data.</p> |
