PURPOSE:To move each developing device in a narrow space with a small number of components efficiently by allowing one developing device to move between a development on position and a development off position and placing the other developing device in motion between the development off position and development on position associatively. CONSTITUTION:When a pressure cam 72 is rotated clockwise and its one end 72a presses one end 71a of a leaf spring 71, a developing device 14 rotates around a pivot pin 70 and moves to the development position nearby a photosensitive drum 11. At this time, a developing device 13 moves to the development off position with the energizing force of a spring 61. When the cam 72 is rotated counterclockwise and its one end 72b presses the other end 71b of the leaf spring 71 of the black developing device 14, the black developing device 14 rotates counterclockwise around the pin 70 and a sleeve 14a leaves the photosensitive drum 11. The upper end 14b of the black developing device 14, on the other hand, abuts on the rear wall of the color developing device 13, which is moved toward the photosensitive drum 11 against the spring 61.
