PURPOSE:To eliminate foam and uneven display by mixedly disposing an inorg. material and org. material as spacer materials to be used to maintain electrode substrates at a specified spacing. CONSTITUTION:This panel is constituted by positioning the glass substrates on which the spacers are sprayed after the formation of electrode patterns in such a manner that the sealing materials are held in place therebetween and that the electrode patterns intersect with each other and sealing a liquid crystal between the substrates. The spacers are mixedly disposed with the inorg. material and org. material. More specifically, the uniform distribution of the org. spacers such as granular plastic over the entire region on the display surface of glass is technically difficult but if the inorg. spacers such as glass fibers are dispersed therein, the fibers act like supporting bars. The decrease of the cell thickness is thereby prevented and the liquid crystal display panel free from the formation of foam and uneven colors is produced by the interaction thereof.
