PURPOSE:To easily execute color separation by providing a color information storing means for receiving the output of a color separation information forming means and outputting color information data and/or a color information means unitedly with the color information storing means and a color control means for controlling the output of the color information storing means. CONSTITUTION:Normalized red and cyanine photoelectric conversion signals are set up as VR and VC respectively. The 1st buffer memory 72 for storing luminance signal data VR+VC and the 2nd buffer memory 73 for storing color difference signal data VC/(VR+VC) constitute a color separation information forming means 70 and the 3rd and 4th memories 81, 82 constitute a color information storing means 80. A color control means 90 for controlling the output of the means 80 is constituted of the 1st buffer 43 for temporarily storing the output of the 3rd memory 81, the 2nd buffer 44 for temporarily storing the output of the 4th memory 82 and a color select circuit 45.
