PURPOSE:To save energy by stopping operation of the drive device when supply of hot water is stopped, making the valve element remain in its position before hot water supply is stopped, thereby preventing emission of hot water just when hot water supply is resumed, and also shortening the time till attainment of the target value of temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a mixing valve chest 41 having a hot water inlet 30 and a mixed water outlet 40, valve elements 44, 45 are furnished so as to adjust the degree of opening of a hot-side flowline 42 and a cold-side flowline 43, wherein the cold-side valve element 45 includes a piston 46 to provide pressure balance, whereby the pressure in a mixing chamber 47 is led to a chamber 48 located behind. Here the valve elements 44, 45 are slidable on a shaft 49. This shaft 49 is fitted with a device 54 to convert rotation into sliding and driven by a motor 53. The temp. of the water after mixing is sensed by a thermistor 55, and the signal therefrom is compared with a signal from a temp. setting device 57 at a controller 56, and according to the deviation obtained through this comparison the drive amount of valve elements 44, 45 by the motor 53 shall be determined, and the result is used to serve the control. |
