PURPOSE:To execute a contents modification processing, and to execute the processing at high speed by reading out the contents of a memory to a memory interface circuit and performing an arithmetic operation, and writing it in the memory of the same address. CONSTITUTION:When a token from a data flow processor 22 is inputted, the contents of a memory 23 are read out to a memory interface circuit 10, the arithmetic operation such as addition, etc., is performed to said contents in the inside of a modifying circuit 13, and this result is written in the same address of the memory 23. In this way, the contents modification processing of this memory is executed by one command of a write operation from the data flow processor, therefore, the processing can be executed at the high speed.
