PURPOSE:To always give an appropriate fuel injection amount, by providing a fuel pressure control means for controlling a fuel pressure regulating means to raise the pressure of fuel, and an injection pulse compensating means for compensating a fuel injection pulse in accordance with the pressure of fuel. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve 13 as a fuel injection means is disposed in an intake-air passage 8. A control unit 23 receives signals from several sensors 24 through 27 including an air flow-meter 10, and delivers outputs to a fuel injection valve 13 and a selector valve 22 which cuts off the supply of vacuum into a vacuum chamber in a pressure regulating valve 20 to increase the fuel pressure in a delivery pipe 14. In the control unit 23, there is provided an injection pulse compensating means for compensating the injection pulse in accordance with pressure of fuel. With this arrangement, it is possible to always given an appropriate fuel injection amount.
