PURPOSE:To obtain drain evaporating pipe, the coating film of which has uniform thickness and no pinhole, the workability of which is improved, the installation cost of which is reduced and which can reply to the variety of shape, of a cooling device by a method wherein a copper pipe with its surface protected by a shrunk tube which is produced by heating and cooling the heat- shrinkable tube after being covered onto the copper pipe, is formed by bending. CONSTITUTION:Straight copper pipes 1, which are cut in lengths and covered with heat-shrinkable polyethylene tubes, are put side by side without contacting with one another on a truck 2, which is moved at a constant speed by a driving motor 7. The wall thickness of the polyethylene tube used of about 0.3mm is enough. A heating oven 3 is of tunnel type and heated by a heater 5 so as to keep its heating temperature of 280-300 deg.C under the control of a temperature controller 9. After leaving the heating oven 5, the copper pipes 1 are cooled by a cooling fan 4 so as to bring the temperature of the copper pipes down to 60 deg.C or lower in order to complete the coating operation of the tube. An evaporating pipe is obtained by bending the coated copper pipe into the predetermined shape of coil. |
