PURPOSE:To maintain electrification preventing effect of a polishing sheet for a long time by hermetically sealing a polishing sheet in a gas unpermeable plastic bag so that the sheet may be cured at the special temperature after minute particles adhere to the sheet and a surface active agent is sprayed and applied to its polishing surface. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive minute particles are applied to at least one side of a piece of paper or a plastic sheet by the use of an adhesive, so that a polishing surface may be formed and dried. Then, a surface active agent is dissolved in a volatile solvent, and is sprayed and applied to the polishing surface of the sheet to be dried. After this polishing sheet is hermetically sealed in a gas unpermeable plastic bag, it is cured at a temperature of 100-160 deg.C, and abrasive minute particles are firmly applied to the polishing sheet as well as a surface active agent is sprayed and stabilized over the whole polishing surface. The polishing sheet cured as shown above is circulated in a market to be used in the condition hermetically sealed in the bag, and electrification prevention and polishing performance thereof are not deteriorated for a long time.
