PURPOSE:To prevent interference from an adjacent chain due to collision between two signals, by determining the initial time difference between sampling pulses from in a loran C signal of adjacent chain and in a loran C signal of a target chain. CONSTITUTION:After being amplified 3, a loran C signal of the target chain received with an antenna 2 is converted into a digital signal with a BPF 4 and a zero-cross comparator 5. Then, it is applied to a sampling circuit 6 and a phase tracking for sampling pulse is done with a central processing unit 7 or the like. The unit 7 detects the loran C signal of the adjacent chain separately from the target chain to determine initial time difference between sampling pulse from the target chain and the detection signal in response to the signal. From the time difference, the timing at which the loran C signal input of the adjacent chain collides with sampling pulse from the loran C signal of the intended chain is calculated. When the collision is likely, it is inhibited to take in the data to be sampled at this timing. This can prevent interference from the adjacent chain.
