<p>1. Catchment or settling basin or control structure (1) with a variable fluid surface having a discharge device whose flow is in principle constant per unit of time, with a height adjustable discharge orifice (2, 2') through which the water present in the basin (1) can flow out via an outlet (7) disposed at a lower level, characterized by the fact that the discharge orifice (2, 2') is in principle disposed perpendicular to the fluid surface (3), the same proportion of the discharge orifice (2, 2') cross section area which determines outflow quantity, is preselectable and optionally variable being immersed in the fluid (immersion depth (h) for each position of the water level, and the same preselectable, optionally variable, immersed cross section area being available, and that the discharge orifice (2, 2') is dimensioned sufficiently large to ensure that the outflowing water is contant per unit of time for each position of the water level (3).</p> |
