摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of alkaline electrolytic solution by attaching a liquid absorbing material on the entire periphery of the outer surface of a cell casing. CONSTITUTION:A cell casing 1 is made with a liquid absorbing material attached on the entire periphery of its outer surface. While the increase of the pressure in the cell casing 1 due to the generation of gas actuates a burst check mechanism to make alkaline electrolytic solution come out of a gas outlet hole 5 together with gas, the alkaline solution is absorbed by the liquid absorbing material 15 when it passes between the cell casing 1 and a heat shrinkage tube 12, thereby leakage to the outside of the cell can be prevented. The burst check mechanism can work normally because the liquid absorbing material 15 allows the gas to pass it smoothly.
