摘要 PURPOSE:To form a toner image having a high density and excellent quality on an amorphous silicon photoconductive layer under high-speed copying conditions by specifying a developing conditions. CONSTITUTION:This two-component type developer is the developer contg. a ferrite carrier having the electric resistivity within a 3X10<6>-5X10<7>OMEGA range and electrically developable toner particles having 5-20mum median diameter, contg. grains of <=5mum grain size at a zero ratio and having >=1X10<13>OMEGA-cm volume resistivity at 100:3-100:11 by weight and is used in the stage of making development under the conditions to satisfy the equation when the clearance between a sleeve and photosensitive body is designated as d(mm) and the electric resistivity of the two-component type developer measured as a magnetic brush between the sleeve and the photosensitive body is designated as R(OMEGA). More specifically, the implantation of electric charge to the toner is increased even in the case of applying high-speed development to the amorphous silicon photosensitive body by making the development in the region lower than the line 3a. The image density is thus remarkably improved.
