PURPOSE:To pull an electric automobile easily by humanpower by interrupting a circuit, to which a flywheel diode is connected, on backward traction by humanpower. CONSTITUTION:When a main switch 5 is turned ON, a contact 2a for a releasing relay 2 is closed, and a motor 3 is connected to a battery 1 through a chopper circuit 4 and started. When an electric automobile is moved backward on a slope, etc. under the state in which the main switch 5 is closed, regenerative braking in which power generated by the motor 3 is returned to the battery 1 through a flywheel diode 7 is conducted, thus preventing a rapid descent on the slope, etc. The main switch 5 is opened on backward traction by humanpower. Accordingly, a contact 6a for a releasing relay 6 is opened, thus working no electric brake on backward traction by humanpower.
