PURPOSE:To easily perform a coating out processing by a paint mode by recognizing a position where a picture drawing pen is separated from a picture drawing pad after the pen contacts the pad as the instruction information of a coating out position by a prescribed operation. CONSTITUTION:When a paint search mode is selected by an operating switch not shown, a microprocessor 43 detects a pen down, stores the position of the pen down on a video memory 41 and a cursor is displayed on a point on a display 3 corresponding to the position of the pen down of the picture drawing pad 2. While the cursor is moving on the display 3, a pen up is detected, and then, the processor 43 stores the position as the start position of the coating out during the paint mode. Subsequently, when the paint mode is selected, the processor 43 performs the coating out processing by making the stored pen up position the start point of the paint mode.
