PURPOSE:To change a loss characteristic in resonance frequency by providing an equalizer with an impedance converter and a variable resistance connected between the input terminal of the impedance converter and a signal input. CONSTITUTION:In the impedance converter 10, a differential amplifier 1 has both positive and negative input terminals. The 1st impedance 2 is equivalently composed of a serial circuit made of a capacitor and a resistance, and connects its one end to the (+) input terminal of the differential amplifier 1. The 2nd impedance 3 is equivalently composed of a resistance, and connected between the other end of the impedance 2 and a ground. The 3rd impedance 4 is equivalently composed of a capacitor, and connected between the connection point of the impedances 2 and 3 and the (-) input terminal of the differential amplifier 1. Thus a simple circuit constitution can change an amplitude characteristic in resonance frequency through a simple operation, and a variable amplitude equalizer can be easily obtained.
