Frame for a set of identical-format and essentially rectangular pictures with a casing having a viewing window (18) for displaying the picture facing it, with a slide (20) parallel to the plane of the window and which can be drawn out of the housing and again pushed in and preferably with a picture changing mechanism which, when the casing and slide, are pulled apart, removes a picture from the end of the pile and, on being pushed in, places it again at the other end of the pile. Centering means (50, 54) are provided which at least straighten the picture facing the window in relation to the center of the picture and as a result of which the window has a size which exceeds the image format. However, the parts of the inside area of the frame which lie under the portions of surface extending over the edges of the picture are masked. |
