MOLDING METHOD FOR AROMATIC POLYIMIDE RESIN AND AROMATIC POLYIMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To mold polyimide resin molded form in which releasing failure of a compression molded form from a mold is improved and which has excellent moldability and homogeneity of the form by compression molding polyimide resin composition formed by adding silicone to aromatic polyimide resin. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming aromatic polyimide resin comprises the steps of compression molding polyimide resin composition formed by adding silicone to aromatic polyimide resin. The adding amount of the silicone is 0.01 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of polyimide resin. The silicone is added to improve the mold releasability of the resin from the mold at the time of compression molding to improve moldability, and crack, cutout of the molded form is prevented. Further, the form becomes homogeneous by adding the silicone. For example, the density of the part which is normally scarcely enhanced in the density is enhanced, and the strength of the form can be raised.
