PRODUCTION OF COLOR SEPARATING FILTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a good color separating filter without the migration of a plasticizer to a color separating filter layer by using an urethane resin of a straight chain thermoplastic elastomer type for which a hardener is not used as a protective film. CONSTITUTION:The multi-faced filter layer 2 is formed on one face of a transparent glass substrate 1 and the protective film 3 contg. no plasticizer is coated on such surface. The substrate 1 is further stuck to a stretchable film 5 such as a PVC resin film having a self-adhesive layer 4. Cutting grooves 6 are formed between the respective color separating filter layers 2 by a dicing device or the like and in succession, force is exerted thereto to expand the film 5 to both sides thereby expanding the width of the grooves 6 to 6'. The color separating filters 7 cut to individual pieces in this state are expanded in the spacings between side faces 8 thereof by which the filters 7 are made easily removable from the film 5. A light shielding layer 9 is easily formable on the side faces in the case of forming said layer.
