PURPOSE:To pick up an incoming call from an optional extension subscriber other than the same group by recognizing a special number from an optional extension subscriber and its succeeding extension number and changing an incoming call to the subscriber having the said extension number into an incoming call to an optional extension subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When an extension subscriber A makes a call to an extension subscriber B, it is probable than an extension subscriber C not in the same group as the extension subscriber B desires to pick up the call. In this case, the extension subscriber C hooks off and dials a special number XY. After the second dial tone is confirmed, an extension number def of the extension subscriber B is dialed. A central controller CCU 2 recognizes it to connect the extension subscribers A and C.
