PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to provide an air conditioning coil and a pump to circulate a heat medium in the coil by forming a circulation circuit for heat exchanging between a heat source and a heat accumulating tank and providing an air passage pipe in the heat accumulating tank to effect direct heat exchange between the heat accumulating tank and the air. CONSTITUTION:Each of heat accumulating tanks 1... is installed in each room. An air passage pipe 2 is provided in each heat accumulating tank 1. A blower 3 sends air into a room through this pipe. An air circulation circuit 4 which consists of a pump 6, pipings 7 and 8 which go and return, a heat exchanging pipe 9 installed in each heat accumulating tank 1, etc. is formed between a heat source 5 and each heat accumulating tank 1. For instance, during room cooling, ice is used in the heat accumulating tank as a heat accumulating medium and a heat medium such as flon is used in the circulation circuit 4 to give high efficiency air conditioning. Further, through night when electricity cost is lower a heat source (an evaporative condenser, etc.) is operated, and the pump is run to exchange heat with the heat accumulating tank 1 in order to accumulate heat energy in the heat accumulating tank 1, and the blower 3 is operated as needed to send cool air into the room.
