The installation for resting and lying down consists of a strip type mattress (14) formed of a plurality of transverse laths (13), the mattress being arranged on a support structure and is characterized by the fact that the underlying structure (10, 20) has at least two longitudinal longerons (spring elements) (12, 12'; 22, 22') arranged longitudinally and at a distance from one another, and having a spring action perpendicular to the loading. The longerons are formed essentially as a structural unit with approximately regularly arranged spring elements (13) of the strip mattress (14) and thus have a joint action therewith. |
