PURPOSE:To improve the durability and moisture resistance of a light receiving member by making the surface of the support uneven by plural hemispherical dents. CONSTITUTION:When a light receiving layer consisting of the 1st layer 102 of an amorphous material contg. Si and at least one between Ge and Sn and the 2nd layer 103 having antireflection function are formed on a support 101 to produce a light receiving member 100, the surface of the support is made uneven by plural hemispherical dents. In case where the curvature R and the width D of the dents satisfy >=0.035 ratio of D/R, >=0.5 Newton's ring by shearing interference is present in each of the dents. Thus, a high optical response speed, extremely superior electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics, high dielectric strength and superior resistance to service environment are obtd. |
