1,4-dihydropyridines of the formula I (I) wherein R1 denotes optionally substituted phenyl, pyridyl or thienyl, R2 denotes optionally substituted oxadiazolyl, thiadiazolyl or thiazolyl and R3 denotes hydrogen or -COOH, their preparation by a modified Hantzsch synthesis and their use as a calcium-agonist in pharmacy.
