The invention relates to a face-guard for sports games, in particular for squash, which in use rests on the forehead of the player and is held on the head by means of a strap, the face-guard having a transparent visor which protects the eyes and sides of the head and is fastened to a rigid holder which is connected by means of rubber buffers to a rail which is adapted to the shape of the forehead. In the case of this face-guard it is provided that the rail which is adapted to the shape of the forehead is provided with a removable padding. This offers inter alia the advantage that the padding may be exchanged easily for cleaning purposes or also in the event of another person using the face-guard.
