Cutting-blade set for electrically driven portable planers

A cutting-blade set for electrically driven portable planers is proposed which, during planing of solid wood transversely to the fibre direction, reduces the accumulating planing chips in their length and their volume in such a way that the risk of an obstruction of the chip-discharge opening is eliminated. This is achieved according to the invention by at least one blade (2) of the cutting-blade set being provided with chip-breaker grooves (3, 3') (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
