PURPOSE:To permit large-capacity and mass production by coating three layers of thin films having specified refractive indices and film thicknesses on a transparent base material by liquid and using a colloidal dispersion of pulverous antimony oxide particles for liquid compsn. to form the 1st and 2nd layers of thin films. CONSTITUTION:A middle refractive index thin film 11 having the refractive index na and film thickness da expressed by formula I is formed on the transparent base material resin 14, the high refractive index thin film 12 having the refractive index nb and film thickness db expressed by formula II is formed on the thin film 11 and the low refractive index thin film 13 having the refractive index nc and film thickness dc expressed by formula III is formed on the thin film 12. (m) denotes a positive integer, l, (n) denote odd positive integers, lambda1-lambda3 denote respectively independently wavelength of visible regions. The thin films 11-13 are obtd. by coating the liquids and curing the coatings by heating, drying or active energy rays. The colloidal dispersion of pulverous antimony oxide particles dispersed into water or other solvents is used as the component for the liquid compsn. for forming the films 11, 12. The antireflection film which permit the large-capacity and mass production is thus obtd. |
