<p>An infrared ray heater unit, made of a ceramic plate (2) carrying a resistive heater wire (3) embedded therein, is mounted on the open end of a shallow box-like metallic case (5) so as to emanate infrared rays, while a terminal insulator member (9) having lead wire bosses (8) and a securing means i.e. fastening bolt boss (7) and bolt (12) is inserted between the plate (2) and the metallic case (5) at a central portion of the heater unit. The metallic case has mounting holes through which the lead wire bosses (8) and the securing means (7,12) of the terminal insulator member extend, so that lead wires are connected to the infrared ray heater from the back of the metallic case at about its central portion. The bolt (12) secures the terminal insulator member (9) to the case (5). A unit is thus obtained which is easily assembled and has good insulation_</p> |
