The chambers produced by two discs, offset from the centre point and in relation to one another, which are connected to one another by cranks movably fixed between them and are pivotably mounted in a housing, can be used for pumping or propulsion. One or two-cycle operation, variable in the direction of rotation or speed, is possible. The cranks and discs rotating parallel produce little vibration and noise so that high speeds and power output become possible.
