PURPOSE:To obtain a composite sleeve having high resistance to corrosion, crack and wear by forming an outside layer of a low-carbon high-chromium cast iron having a specific compsn. and specific Hs and an inside layer of a specifically composed cast steel having excellent strength and toughness. CONSTITUTION:The outside layer of a composite sleeve for an assembled roller is formed of the low-carbon high-chrominum cast iron material consisting, by weight %, of 0.8-1.2% C, 0.5-1.2% Si, 0.5-1.2% Mn, <=0.03% P, <=0.03% S, 0.5-2.0% Ni, 14-25% Cr, 1.0-2.5% Mo and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities and having 70-80 Hs. The inside layer is formed of the special steel consisting of 0.3-1.0% C, 0.2-1.0% Si, 0.2-1.5% Mn, <=0.1% P, <=0.1% S, 0.5-3.0% Ni, 0.5-7.0% Cr, 0.1-0.8% Mo and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities and having excellent strength and toughness. The outside layer and the inside layer are united by welding. The composite sleeve to be used as the assembled roller, etc. for a hot run table is thus formed. |
