PURPOSE:To eliminate troubles in extending wires between pulleys and to eliminate the need to detach the wires from the pulleys every times a unit is detached for maintenance, etc., by positioning a holding member by a positioning means. CONSTITUTION:When the wires are extended between the pulleys during the assembly of a copying machine, etc., pulley fitting plates 34a and 34b which hold the pulleys 35a and 35b rotatably are engaged with positioning pins 41a and 41a, and 41b and 41b on rails 27a and 27b and a position fixing pin 45 is inserted into holes 44a and 44b of the pulley fitting plates 34a and holes 42a and 42b of the rails 28a and 28b to fix the pulley fitting plates 34a and 34b on the rails 28a and 28b. In this state, the wires 32a and 32b are extended between the pulleys as mentioned above and then the 2nd an the 3rd mirror holders 33 are fitted to the pulley fitting plates 34a and 34b. Consequently, neither of the 2nd and the 3rd mirror holders 33 impedes the wire extending operation and the wires are easily extended.
