PURPOSE:To operate easily a computer system by securing the coincidence between a computer main body and a set number just with a single key operation in case no 1:1 correspondence is obtained between the computer main body side and the transmitter side owing to a setting of a set number for prevention of a malfunction. CONSTITUTION:A computer system consists of a transmission keyboard 1 and a computer main body 2 and the key data is converted into codes in a normal operation mode by a key control circuit 26 with push of a key 27. A signal generating circuit 21 adds a set number to said code and this set number is outputted from an infrared light emitting element 19 via an output circuit 20. A signal is demodulated by a receiving circuit 12 of the body 2 and the coincidence between this signal and the set number supplied from a set number generating circuit 17 is checked and decided by a signal discriminating circuit 13. When said coincidence is obtained, the key data is outputted to a control bus 18. Here a memory circuit 25 and a returnkey 28 are added to the keyboard 1. Thus the set numbers stored in the circuit 25 are used for transmissions excepting that carried out by the key 28. Thus a computer system having no malfunction is attained.
