PURPOSE:To improve the safety in handling by removing gunpowder by changing the nozzle diameter and releasing an air taking-in port cover by utilizing the pressure and temperature generated by the combustion of the booster propellant and the pneumatic force supplied from an air taking-in port. CONSTITUTION:Before an engine is operated, a pin 4 and the thermally soluble substance 5 are in pushed-down state by a spring 3, and since the pin 4 is positioned in spreading-over state in the hole part between a nozzle 1 for ram jet and a nozzle 2 for booster, the both nozzles 1 and 2 are fixed. At this time, an air inlet port cover 8 is supported so as to close an air taking-in port 10 by the booster propellant 7. When the booster propellant 7 is combusted, the thermally soluble substance 5 is solved and dispersed, and the pin 4 is pushed down furthermore by the spring 3. Further, the cover 8 is released by the pneumatic force supplied from the air intake port 10. Therefore, the nozzle 2 is pushed out rearward, and the cover 8 is discharged through the nozzle 1.
