The process for the production of heat insulator comprises the mixing of expanded perlite sand with an aqueous solution of an organic binder which contains lignosulphonic acid salts, having a viscosity of 0.7 to 50 kPa.s until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixture is shaped and subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of 200 to 260 DEG C. |
