PURPOSE:To provide an ion exchange resin having a crosslinked structure obtained by the copolymerization of a fluorine-containing divinyl compound with a specific fluorine-containing vinyl compound, polymerizable rapidly in high polymerization yield, and having excellent heat-resistance, corrosion- resistance and dimensional stability. CONSTITUTION:The objective fluorine-containing ion exchange resin contains a crosslinked structure and obtained by the copolymerization of (A) a fluorine- containing divinyl compound and (B) a fluorine-containing vinyl compound having an ion exchange group or a functional group convertible to an ion exchange group. The component A is a perfluorodivinyl ether compound, and its amount is >=30wt% based on the whole monomer, or >=50wt% in the case of forming an ion exchange resin membrane. The component B is a fluorine- containing vinyl ether compound having an ion exchange group or a functional group convertible to an ion exchange group.
