AGENT FOR CONTROLLING BACTERIAL DISEASE OF YOUNG YELLOWTALL

PURPOSE:To provide the titled controlling agent containing Kasugamycin or its salt as an active component. CONSTITUTION:An agent for controlling bacterial disease of young yellowtail can be produced by using Kasugamycin (an antibiotic substance produced by an actinomycete named as Streptomyces Kasugaensis) or its salt (e.g. hydrochloride) as an active component. Kasugamycin used as an active component has specific remedying action to rice blast and is used widely as an agent for controlling rice blast. It has extremely low toxicity and there is no report on its chronic toxicity. It is an extremely safe medicine which is excreted relatively rapidly from an animal body and decomposed in natural environment. It has extremely low toxicity to other aquatic animals.
