PURPOSE:To certainly perform the taking-off of printing paper from a cylindrical plate cylinder by preventing the leading end part of a separation pawl from contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder even if the roundness of the cylindrical plate cylinder is inferior and the cylindrical plate cylinder generates rotary deflection, by setting the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder as a standard and arranging and locating the separation pawl so as to follow said outer peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:A separation pawl 5 is provided to a take-off side from the press roller 4 of a cylindrical plate cylinder 1. The roller 9 of an interval holding lever 7 is pressed to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 by the spring force of a tensile coil spring 14. When the gap between the leading end part 5a of the separation pawl 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical outer surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 is ready to vary because the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 is inferior to out of roundness or generates rotary deflection, the interval holding lever 7 revolves so as to follow the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 and, at the same time, the separation pawl 5 also revolves around a support shaft 6 by the revolution of said lever 7. The variation in the gap between the leading end part 5a of the separation pawl 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 is compensated by said revolution and the gap is always kept constant in spite of the inferiority in the roundness of the cylindrical plate cylinder 1 or the rotary precession of said cylinder 1.
