PURPOSE:To reduce lateral fringe shading at the center part of a multitube color camera by reducing one-step variation in the D/A output of the center part and increasing the number of quantized bits equivalently. CONSTITUTION:The address generating circuit 11 of a digital memory 4 is driven with horizontal and vertical synchronizing pulses 1 and 2 to outputs a gain control signal 14 for an amplifier while generating an address synchro nized with the video signal of the camera. The amplifier 12 varies in gain with the control signal and sends its output to a deflecting circuit as a registra tion correcting signal 13. A microprocessor 10 and switches 8 and 9 are used for adjustment wherein digital data for optimizing the registration of each block is determined. When the data is determined, data is read out of the digital memory 4 with address pulses sent from the address generating circuit 11 in synchronism with the video signal of the camera to obtain the registration correcting signal 13 passed through a D/A converting circuit 5 and the amplifier 12 which varies in gain according to a block.
